Charles Lutwidge Dodgson aka Lewis Carroll(1832–1892) was a man of many interests and abilities, during his life he worked as a mathmetician, was a church deacon, dabbled in photography, but will forever be known for his story Alice in Wonderland. On a 1862 boat trip Charles Dodgson entertained three sisters with a story about falling down a rabbit hole and into wondrous adventures. Based on positive feedback he wrote down and illustrated the story in 1864.
